While I’m not a proponent of going all in on Christmas before Thanksgiving (it deserves more appreciation!), I am all for starting holiday shopping early.

There are gift guides for everything and everyone these days: moms, dads, cat lovers, foodies, knitters… you name it, it’s out there.

But what about those of us with Hashimoto’s or hypothyroidism? Well, I’ve got you covered.

For the person who is always cold:

  1. Heated Mouse Pad

Now this may look like a giant slipper for your hand, and I guess it kind of it, but it is absolutely amazing. I got a heated mouse pad for Christmas and it is one of the best gifts ever. My hands are constantly cold, especially at work where the AC blasts randomly and with this snazzy device, all you need to do is plug it into your computer and your all set!

  1. So Freaking Cold Hoodie

Another great gift? Any kind of hoodie, sweatshirt or blanket. Personally, I love this one, I think it’s hilarious and very accurate. Plus, this color… perfect for the holidays!

For your gluten-free friends:

  1. Artisan Gluten Free Bread in 5 Minutes A Day

This book… I can’t say enough about it. This is a great gift idea for the avid bakers in your life. Gluten free bread recipes can be really hit or miss, but this book has everything you need to know, including two gluten free flour mix recipes!

  1. Gluten Free Flour Mix

For the newly gluten free, pre-made flour mixes are a great gift and great introduction to gluten free baking. Bob’s Red Mill 1 to 1 Flour, Cup4Cup and King Arthur Measure For Measure Flour are all great starter options.

For those who like beauty:

  1. Duri Rejuvacote

With hypothyroidism sometimes comes brittle nails, and one of my all time favorite products for brittle or damaged nails is Duri Rejuvacote. I’ve been using it for years. This stuff has brought my nails back from nail biting and even gel nails (if you’ve had gels or acrylics, you’ll know ho damaged your nails can get), definitely one of my holy grail nail products.

  1. Keranique Damage Control Shampoo and Conditioner

Hair. Another battle in itself. My current favorite conditioner is the Keranique Replenishing Keratin Conditioner, it really brings a lot of moisture to damaged/brittle hair. All of their products are sulfate and paraben free, and they have a variety of products depending on what your hair needs, along with styling products, scalp treatments and other treatments and supplements.

  1. It’s A 10 Miracle Hair Mask

This is one of those products that was on everyone’s list back when it first came out, it’s a holy grail products for many… and for good reason. It works!

For anyone who needs a little extra ‘me time’:

  1. Lush Relax Gift Set

Life is stressful, muscle aches and joint pain don’t help. This set includes a bath bomb, bubble bar, shower gel and body lotion which are all lavender scented to help relax those tired muscles and joints. There are also tons of other gift sets at Lush, or you can get some great products from the Bath and Body Works aromatherapy collections!

There you have it! Some great gift options for anyone with Hashimoto’s or hypothyroidism in your life.. including yourself!
