Happy New Year, everyone! Hope this year brings us a something better than 2020.

I’m sure we’ve all heard that no new is good news, but for me… it’s just meh.

A few weeks ago I was supposed to go see my endocrinologist about my last round of labs (if you haven’t seen my disappointing results, you can read all about them here)… but of course, we had a snow storm. The one big storm we have. So that got cancelled, and I’ll be honest, now I’m kind of over it and don’t feel like making another appointment even though I have to. Yeah, yeah, I know I have to.

But I am dragging my feet.

In other news, I did end up giving up on being gluten free (right around Thanksgiving, so it’s been a little bit over a month) and am now thoroughly enjoying making sourdough bread every weekend and not overspending on bagels and flour. Also, I still feel exactly the same as I did when I was gluten free, so that makes me continue to believe that it did nothing for me.

All in all, that’s what’s been going on, it was a slow end to 2020. I will definitely try to force myself into calling my doctor and making an appointment this week. That should actually be my New Years resolution.

Anyway, I hope everyone had a great holiday and as always, I’ll make sure to update on all the goings on.
